Established in 2015 with Artistic Director & Chief Conductor Yordan Kamdzhalov. The orchestra unites leading Bulgarian performers from Bulgaria and the world.

They come together to give new dimensions and impulses for the development of the cultural space. As ambassadors of the Bulgarian performing arts, they bring impressive musical projects to life with great success.

With its first album, released in 2018 for the recording giant CPO Records, GENESIS ORCHESTRA received worldwide distribution and recognition. It was nominated for the prestigious Opus Klassik Award, Berlin, in the “Record of the Year 2019” category. GENESIS ORCHESTRA is the winner of the ECHO Klassik Award Hamburg in the “Music of the 20th/21st Century” category.

It also produced recordings with the legendary multiple Grammy and Golden Globe Awards winner Lisa Gerard for the record company EDEL. The ensemble, under the baton of Yordan Kamdzhalov, has toured world cultural capitals such as Vienna, Munich, and Rome.
