Zdravka Vasileva

is from the youngest generation of Bulgarian trumpet players. Born in 1999 in Svilengrad, she started studying trumpet when she was 10 years old, at the Children Music School in Svilengad. Zdravka was a part of the class of Pencho Penchev, with whom she continues her education at the National School of Music and Stage Arts “Hristina Morfova” in Stara Zagora, and Academy of Music, Dance and Visual Arts “Prof. Asen Diamandiev” in Plovdiv. Through these years she reaches many significant acheivements:
- 2009: III Prize and prize “Successful debut” from International Competition – Stara Zagora
- 2011: I Prize in the international competition “Ohrid Pearls” – Ohrid, Republic of Macedonia
- 2011: III Prize from VI International Competition for Young Trumpeters – Stara Zagora, Bulgaria
- 2012: I Prize and Gold Medal from the “Orpheus Gift” competition – Sofia, Bulgaria
- 2012: Special prize from the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture for high professional accomplishments
- 2012: Prize from the mayor of Stara Zagora, Bulgaria
- 2012: Invited alongside more talented kids of Bulgaria for a special meeting with the President
- 2012: I Prize from the international competition “Peter Konjovic” – Belgrade, Serbia
- 2013: I Prize from VII International Competition for Young Trumpeters – Stara Zagora, Bulgaria
- 2014: Nomination for Student of the Year in National School of Music and Stage Arts “Hristina Morfova” for high accomplishments

- 2017: GRAND Prix Prize from V International Competition “Road to Fame” – Karnolski Art Centre – Sofia, Bulgaria

- 2018: Participation in the masterclass of professor Wim Van Hasselt – Belgium/Germany
- 2019: Masterclass with professor Andrey Ikov – soloist of “Bolshoi Theatre”, Moscow, Russia
- 2020: I Prize from IV International competition for chamber music and individual musicians “Borovec”
- 2021: II Prize in the National Radio Competition for young instrumentalists for the prizes of “Cantus Firmus”. The final concert will take place in Bulgaria Hall on 28.09.2021
Soloist of orchestras:
- 2011 , 2012, 2013 , 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 – soloist of the orchestra of the opera in Stara Zagora.
- 2013, 2014 and 2015 – soloist in the Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra.
- 2014 – soloist of the Shumen Philharmonic Orchestra.
- 2018 – soloist of the Sliven symphony orchestra.
- 2014 and 2015 she is a soloist with Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra for a project together with the actor Ruslan Mainov (over 20 concerts in Bulgaria, as well as a concert in Hall 1 in the National Palace of Culture – Bulgaria)
- 2014 – touring in Germany, Austria and Luxembourg together with the Ruse Opera
- 2014, 2015 – participation in two plays by Ruse Opera (“Traviata” and “Otello”) with conductor Maestro Georgi Dimitrov
- Since 2014, Zdravka is the leader of the female trumpet trio “Svilena”
- Since 2019, she is the leader of the female academic trumpet quartet at the Academy of Music, Dance and Visual Arts “Prof. Asen Diamandiev”, Plovdiv
- 2017: Recital at the music festival “TEMPIETTO” in Rome, Italy, together with the Korean pianist Kwag Jongrey
- 2017: Invited to participate in the 26-th Lions European Music Competition “Thomas Kuti” in Montreux, Switzerland – the first Bulgarian musician ever to take place in this competition
- 27.05.2021: Plays concerto for trumpet and orchestra “Es dur” by Joseph Haydn, conducted by Jose Eduardo Pocas-Gomez (Portugal) together with the Pazardhik symphony orchestra
- Since 2018, Zdravka is a soloist-trumpeter of Symphonic-operetta society “Maestro G. Atanasov” – Pazardzhik
