Plamena Girginova

The coloratura soprano Plamena Girginova is born on 9th of March 1989.
From 1996 to 2007 she has been a part of the Children’s choir of the Bulgarian National Radio – soloist with concert tours in Japan, China, Germany,Switzerland, Italy and in the Czech Republic.
In 2011 Plamena graduated from National Academy of Music “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov”, Sofia, Bulgaria – Bachelor in classical singing, and in 2012 she got her Masters degree in classical singing from the NMA.
Her principal teachers are: Mila Duylgerova (National Academy of Music – Sofia, Bulgaria), Eva Lindkvist (Vienna, Austria) and Yossif Guerdjikov (baroque specialist) – Sofia, Bulgaria.

- July, 2019: Participation as a special guest and winner of the “Gena Dimitrova” competition in a gala concert at the Vrana Palace under the direction of Hirofumi Yoshida, together with the Sofia Philharmonic
- September 2019: Recording of the vocals to the twice awarded with Icarus theatrical performance “Glory” by director Stayko Murdzhev and composer Petar Dundakov, performed on the stage of Drama Theater Plovdiv and Theater “Azaryan”, Sofia
- 2021, April – Participation in the opera “The Magic Flute” by W.A.Mozart as Queen of the Night on the stage of the Varna State Opera, directed by Antonio Zamfir (Romania)
- 2021, July – Participation in the audio-visual multimedia performance “Song of the Winds” to the music of composer Peter Dundakov, together with folk singer Gergana Dimitrova, Rosen Zahariev (trumpet) and Sofia soloists with conductor Plamen Djurov
