Stravinsky Firebird Suite 1919

There was one work that changed and modeled my entire conducting career so far like no other – #FIREBIRD. Yesterday marked the 140th anniversary of the birth of the ABSOLUTELY unique composer – Igor Stravinsky. Yes. He’s Russian. There’s nothing wrong with that. On the contrary.
He is the author of a number of revolutions in music – FIRE-BIRD is just one of many.

Thank you very much for that. He changed, inspired and stimulated the artist in me … from the very beginning ….

FIRE-BIRD took me to the biggest halls in #London and #Zurich and #Berlin ….
On June 29, I will present the bag for the first time in #Sofia as part of the Sofia Music Weeks #International #Festival.

The Pleven Philharmonic Orchestra is one of the few ensembles in Bulgaria that does not stop performing miracles … and “during the plague”. Huge respect to colleagues.
