Interdisciplinary Creators

Founded in 2014 by Yordan Kamdzhalov, this educational concert series is inspired by the understanding of interdisciplinarity as a natural phenomenon of human nature and potential. It is well-known that many of the great figures who left a profound mark on world history were precisely interdisciplinary creators.

The concerts present inspiring individuals who created in various fields, such as:

  • Alexander Borodin – physician, chemist, composer
  • Richard Wagner – poet, philosopher, composer
  • Antonio Vivaldi – priest, composer
  • Dimitar Nenov – pianist, pedagogue, architect, composer
  • Alexander Scriabin – pianist, philosopher, visionary, composer
  • William Herschel – astronomer, discoverer, composer

“Interdisciplinary Creators” is a concert series that aims not only to provide the audience with an opportunity to glimpse the creative potential of individuals throughout the ages but also to inspire them to look within and discover their own.
